The Role
You will be responsible for leading the sales team to drive revenue growth, developing and executing sales strategies, and building strong relationships with key customers and partners. This role requires a strong sales background in the renewable energy industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving revenue growth.

What you'll do:

  • Oversee the sales team in achieving revenue growth targets and ensuring that the team is aligned with company goals.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies that drive revenue growth and expand the company’s customer base.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and support to the sales team to improve sales performance and ensure that sales processes are efficient and effective.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns and initiatives that support the sales strategy.
  • Collaborate with other departments within the company to ensure that customer needs are being met and to drive the development of new products and services.
  • Monitor market trends and stay up to date on industry developments in order to provide guidance on potential new opportunities.
  • Present sales reports and updates to the executive team.

Skills to be Successful

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in the renewable energy industry, with a proven track record of achieving revenue growth targets.
  • Progressive experience leading a sales team, with strong leadership and coaching skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven choices.
  • In-depth knowledge of the renewable energy industry, including market trends and regulatory frameworks.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Compensation and Shift Details

  • Compensation Range: $210K-$350K

Pay Equity

Moxion is committed to the principle of pay equity – paying employees equitably for substantially similar work. Compensation displayed is a range. Maximum amounts are reserved for those candidates that exceed all experience and background requirements. We reserve the right to offer compensation based on level of experience. Moxion has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The range above reflects the potential base pay within the San Francisco Bay area. If you live outside that region, the range is subject to change.

Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within the range provided above. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.
